Originally from California, Tru earned a BA in classical voice at the Lionel Hampton School of Music, University of Idaho.
Today, she lives in Brooklyn, NY, works in the classical music field, is a member of the folk duo 'Perigean,' is an active member in 'Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Singing' a musical improv group, and is working on solo music to be released in the coming year!
